Firstly we'd like to tell you a few things about our wash and conditioner, it' does not contain any sulfates, parabens or silcones. We looked into the science of what a beard wash and conditioner should be and found the ingredients to fit the criteria of what we wanted to create, our goal was to create a low pH wash without having any harsh surfactants.

Our wash and conditioner are lightly scented so it's not too overpowering, we wanted to give the products a scent but not one that would hang around after you've finished washing as we always recommend applying a beard oil, balm or butter after drying and we didn't want the scents to clash.

Keeping your skins pH levels in check
​
Your natural skins pH is incredibly important to maintain because if your skins pH increases it'll strip your skin of it's natural oils and cause dry skin and itchiness and if it goes down your skin will become too oily which can lead to clogged pores and acne.
​
The skins natural pH sits at between 4.7 and 5.75 on the pH scale which means in order to maintain this you need your wash to replicate that same pH level. Our beard wash and conditioner both sit at between 4-6 pH which makes it perfect to maintain your skins natural pH.
